A Lifestyle, Grooming And Technology Blog

The morning commute can be an all together stressful affair. You find yourself barely awake navigating the unbelievably crowded maze that is the London Underground, whilst trying to cobble together your to do list for the day.

So grab a hot drink and a croissant (or insert healthy morning snack here) and enjoy a few of these chilled tracks I've chosen to give you a morning boost. One of the highlights below has got to be a track from the new album by Lianne La Havas entitled "Blood". This cool mix of R&B and pop is a sure fire way to get your morning off to a great start.

  1. Ben Howard - Old Pine
  2. I'm Yours - Jason Mraz
  3. She Will Be Loved - Maroon 5
  4. Freedom - Pharrell Williams
  5. King - Years & Years
  6. Can't Feel My Face - The Weekend
  7. Sweet Nothing - Gabrielle Aplin
  8. Green & Gold - Lianne La Havas
  9. For Emma - Bon Iver
  10. Royals - Lorde

What must-haves do you have on your morning commute playlist?

There's nothing quite like the excitement of a delivery from Mr Porter. Their exquisite packaging oozes quality and really makes you feel like your purchase has been cared for.  This week's Friday buy is from one of my favourite french brands A.P.C. I picked up one of their new crew neck t-shirts, which features beautiful embroidery of several Parisian land marks. The fabric is 100% cotton and feels great.

A.P.C. Embroidered Cotton-Jersey T-Shirt £65

I always find that buying some new kit is the best way of getting me motivated to hit the gym, especially if it's been a few months. Somehow a Netflix binge just seems like a much better way to spend a Sunday afternoon - just me?!

Anyway I'm always much more excited to go for a run when i'm sporting a shiny new pair of Nikes or splashed out on a new pair of bluetooth headphones. Workout clothes don't need to be expensive or flashy, just have the right fit, style and fabric for you. Sometimes just a refreshed gym playlist can do the trick! Here's my top buys:

  1. Nike LunarGlide 7 running shoes
  2. Bose SoundSport in-ear headphones
  3. Nike Run Camo Print T-Shirt
  4. Iffley Road Crew Neck Running T-Shirt
  5. Athletic Propulsion Labs Jersey Running Shorts

What gets you motivated to hit the gym?

Etsy is one of my favourite sites for finding handmade products at great prices from independent retailers. Here's some of my favourite finds for this month. Full in-depth reviews of several of them on the way very shortly.

Apple Watch & iPhone Charging Stand

I've been searching for a dock/stand for a while now that stores and charges my iPhone 6 as well as my Apple Watch. This stylish stand is made from solid wood and allows you to charge both devices simultaneously, plus at just £19 plus shipping it's a bargain too.
